Chili Cheese Dog Crescent Ring

I- Ingredients for 16 Rings:

  • 12 ounces ground beef;
  • 3 hot dogs (chopped);
  • 1/2 cups onions (diced);
  • 1/2 cups green pepper (chopped);
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced);
  • 10 ounces tomatoes (can of, and chili peppers);
  • 15 ounces kidney beans (can of, drained and rinsed);
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce;
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder;
  • salt;
  • pepper;
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese.

II- Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Spray cooking spray into a medium skillet set over medium heat.
  3. To the skillet add your onion, garlic and green pepper and saute for 3 minutes.
  4. Add in your ground beef and brown.
  5. Stir in hot dogs, can of tomatoes, can of beans, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder and salt and pepper.
  6. Allow cooking for 5 minutes so the flavors can marry.
  7. Unroll crescent rolls and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet or pizza pan.
  8. Form a ring in the center with the pointed ends facing out so it looks like a sun.
  9. Place chili dog filling all around the edges forming the circle and top with cheese.
  10. Fold over the point so it covers all the filling and tuck corner up under the bottom crescent dough.
  11. Repeat all the way around.
  12. Bake for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
  13. Serve with mustard, ketchup and/or banana peppers.
