Chili Cheese Dog Crescent Ring
I- Ingredients for 16 Rings:
- 12 ounces ground beef;
- 3 hot dogs (chopped);
- 1/2 cups onions (diced);
- 1/2 cups green pepper (chopped);
- 2 cloves garlic (minced);
- 10 ounces tomatoes (can of, and chili peppers);
- 15 ounces kidney beans (can of, drained and rinsed);
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce;
- 1 Tbsp chili powder;
- salt;
- pepper;
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese.
II- Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Spray cooking spray into a medium skillet set over medium heat.
- To the skillet add your onion, garlic and green pepper and saute for 3 minutes.
- Add in your ground beef and brown.
- Stir in hot dogs, can of tomatoes, can of beans, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder and salt and pepper.
- Allow cooking for 5 minutes so the flavors can marry.
- Unroll crescent rolls and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet or pizza pan.
- Form a ring in the center with the pointed ends facing out so it looks like a sun.
- Place chili dog filling all around the edges forming the circle and top with cheese.
- Fold over the point so it covers all the filling and tuck corner up under the bottom crescent dough.
- Repeat all the way around.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
- Serve with mustard, ketchup and/or banana peppers.
