/ CHICKEN - SLOW COOKER - HONEY - MUSTARD - DINNER

Yummy Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Chicken

I- Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or chicken breasts;
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock;
  • 3 tbsp + 1 tsp honey;
  • 3 tbsp + 1 tsp yellow mustard;
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce;
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic;
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary;
  • Chives, for garnish (optional).

II- Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix chicken stock, 3 tbsp honey, 3 tbsp yellow mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic and rosemary.
  2. Place chicken thighs in slow cooker and pour the honey mustard sauce on top.
  3. Mix with a spoon to make sure the chicken is fully coated.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 3.5 hours or 7 hours on low.
  5. Shred chicken with fork and mix in remaining teaspoon of honey and yellow mustard.
  6. Generously season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with chives.
  8. Serve and Enjoy!
