Healthy Dreamsicle Smoothie
I- Ingredients for 1 Serving:
- 1/2 cup chopped apple;
- 1/2 cup cooked carrots;
- 1/2 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt;
- 1/2 cup 100% orange juice;
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon;
- 1 tsp honey (optional);
- 3-4 ice cubes.
II- Directions:
- If using fresh or frozen carrots, steam or boil them for about 10 minutes until they are tender and cool before adding to the smoothie.
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for about 1 minute or until completely smooth and creamy.
