Healthy Dreamsicle Smoothie

I- Ingredients for 1 Serving:

  • 1/2 cup chopped apple;
  • 1/2 cup cooked carrots;
  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt;
  • 1/2 cup 100% orange juice;
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon;
  • 1 tsp honey (optional);
  • 3-4 ice cubes.

II- Directions:

  1. If using fresh or frozen carrots, steam or boil them for about 10 minutes until they are tender and cool before adding to the smoothie.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for about 1 minute or until completely smooth and creamy.
