Balsamic Braised Brussels Sprouts

I- Ingredients for 4 Servings:

  • 1 Tbsp unsalted butter;
  • 1 lb medium brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved;
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic;
  • 3/8 tsp kosher salt;
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper;
  • 1/4 cup unsalted chicken stock;
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar;
  • 1 Tbsp unsalted chicken stock.

II- Directions:

  1. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add brussels sprouts to pan cut side down.
  3. Cook 3 minutes, without stirring.
  4. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and 1/4 cup chicken stock and cover partially.
  6. Cook for 3 minutes. Stir in balsamic vinegar and 1 tablespoon chicken stock and simmer for 1 minute.
  7. Remove from heat, serve and enjoy!!
